People working for themselves write quotes constantly, and every time they start from the same place: a document to rebuild, lay out and send as an attachment. Then the quote disappears into the client's inbox, and there is no way of knowing whether it was ever opened, let alone when to follow up.
Cosa ho costruito
An iOS app that treats a quote as something with a life, not as a file.
You put it together in the app by picking lines and prices, with your own branding already applied: what comes out is a presentable PDF, without going near a word processor. It goes straight to the client with the PDF attached, and from then on the quote stays tracked — the app tells you when it is opened, which is the piece of information that decides whether and when to follow up.
Clients live in a list with their details, so the next quote starts half-written instead of empty. Amounts work in several currencies, because people working for themselves rarely invoice in only one. A summary screen keeps count of how many quotes went out and how many came back.
